Head of the Foreign Relations Department at Al Nasr Company for Export and Import Mohamad Wagdi Gomaa asserted that the political leadership in both Egypt and Sudan is keen on increasing the volume of trade exchange to serve the best interests of the two Nile basin countries.
In statements to MENA, Gomaa uncovered new contracts from importing corduroy, a type of cotton fabric, from Sudan to be used in various industries in Egypt.
Gomaa remarks were made on the fringe of his participation in the 32nd round of Khartoum International Fair.
Meanwhile, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Center in Khartoum said the volume of the center's deals in Sudan hits 20 million dollars.
