The fishing port of Port Said has been closed due to bad weather.
The bad weather caused high waves and blurred vision off the coast, said Fathi Taha, the head of the Port Said harbors authority.
Yet, the navigation via the Suez Canal has not been affected, he said.
Other ports in the city have not also been halted because of the bad weather, he said, adding that they received nine ships today.
