PPI for Palestine down in October

The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine decreased in October by 0.55% compared to September, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said Thursday. Producer price index for locally consumed products also decreased by 0.61% compared to September while producer price index for exported products increased by 0.03%. The drop in prices in the PPI was due to drop in prices of agriculture goods by 1.21%, manufacturing group by 0.1%, mining and quarrying by 0.37% and fishing by 14.92%, said the PCBS.
