
Qatar Chamber(QC) officials held a meeting today with a delegation from Iran on ways to enhance trade co-operation and role of the private sector and QC in the advancement of economic relations between both sides.
This came as Deputy Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tawar Al Kuwari met here today with the visiting Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei.
Both sides discussed preparations for Joint Iran-Qatar High Commission and invited QC officials to visit the Iranian products exhibition and to strengthen role of Rowais port that links trade between the two countries and benefit from all facilities of the port to enhance movement of import and export of products, especially the cement and gypsum products.
The delegation Iranian extended an invitation to QC officials to visit Iran to check investment opportunities and to discuss upon with their Iranian counterparts.
