The Qatari-Egyptian Joint Committee started meetings here today under the co-chairmanship of HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah and Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Faiza Abul Naja. The two sides will discuss investment opportunities in Egypt and will prepare a package of joint investment projects between the two countries. They will also discuss matters related to the completion of existing projects, the implementation of the industrial area at Burj Al-Arab (Arab Tower) in addition to agreement on the operational steps for the establishment of the largest port in the world in Alexandria. At the close of the meetings the two sides will sign a number of bilateral agreements .
