
HE Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani inaugurated Monday the Global Entrepreneurship Week, held under his auspices.
More than 200 entrepreneurs and policy makers from 140 countries attended the event which will continue until November 23.
Qatar Development Bank CEO Abdul-Aziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa said today in a statement that the State of Qatar has witnessed a turning point in the field of entrepreneurship, after the country provided the necessary backing to turn the projects of entrepreneurs into reality.
He added that Qatar Development Bank will remain the main destination for entrepreneurs in the country. He stressed the bank's commitment to supporting all projects that could help the growth of the Qatari economy.
