
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree on Thursday ratifying a cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration and the international Labor Organization (ILO) on March 31.
The protocol stipulates promoting the right of workers and competitiveness in the field of the Egyptian export industries with reserving the right of ratification.
The protocol also prescribes that the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration establish an inspection unit to inspect the factories that produce ready-made clothes and foodstuff in the governorates to advise the workers and the owners of the factories to perform well while ILO offers technical support for them.
