
The Arab Economic Forum started its 22nd session here today.
The session was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saeed Awwadh Asiri and President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah Saleh Kamel.
Ambassador Asiri said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), "We see Arab interaction in the Lebanese capital of Beirut in the presence of a large number of Saudi businessmen which embodies the positive images about the situation in Lebanon and hopes being attached for its stability and security, hoping that this is an opportunity for the private sector in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon to increase the interaction between the two countries."
Participants in the two-day Forum included 450 officials, investors and businessmen from 14 countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
