
The value of non-commodity exports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for December 2014 registered a decrease of 17.16% to reach SR 16,745 million, compared to the same period of 2013, as imports fell by 0.02% to SR 52,430 million, from the same period 2013, while the rate of non-oil exports was 31.94% of the total value of imports during this period.
The monthly report issued by the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) indicated that the exports of plastics and rubber and their products ranked first at a value of SR 5515 million by 32.94% of the total value of non-petroleum commodity exports, and the chemical industry's products and related derivatives ranked second at a value of SR 5042 million by 30.11%, while the transport equipment and parts thereof came in third place with a value of SR 2350 million by 14.03% of the total value of exports.
