Signing pacts of investment projects in Suez to be delayed

No new projects will be approved for any company or factory in the industrial zones in Suez until the general plan of the Suez Canal axis development is issued, said Suez Governor El Arabi el Serwi.
Also, no pacts will be signed in the industrial zones inside the geographical area of the Suez Canal axis development project until that date, he added.
The move came in line of directives issued by the cabinet, he said.
Egypt will open the new Suez Canal on August 6, a step that will pave the way to announce the Suez Canal axis development project.
