
Sinai Development Authority reveals new projects worth EGP3bn in Port Said, Damietta
CAIRO, Oct 28 (MENA) - The Sinai Development Authority (SDA) has announced new projects in Port Said and Damietta provinces at a total cost of EGP 3. 123 billion.
The SDA said the projects include building two bridges in Port Said and new roads in Damietta.
Head of the Central Development Authority unveiled on Tuesday a plan to build a new 105kilometers long road to connect the new Suez Canal to the ports of Damietta, Port Said, Suez and Alexandria.
"The total cost of the road is expected to reach 1.8billion," he said.
The new road is expected to be opened by the end of next year, he added.
