President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has chaired a meeting with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Ministers of International Cooperation Naglaa al Ahawany and Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman on preparations for the Sharm el Sheikh economic conference due on March 13-14.
Ahawany said the conference aimed to return Egypt to the world investment map and to ensure that it had overcome the difficult situation it went through over the past four years which negatively affected the foreign direct investments into the country.
"The conference will present investment opportunities in Egypt and new monetary and economic reform measures to lure more foreign investors to do business in Egypt," the minister said.
Minister Salman also briefed the president on steps taken to prepare investment project lists in cooperation with local investment banks and consultative firms.
