
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has ratified the final account the State’s General Budget for 2013/2014 fiscal year which amounted EGP 824.375 billion against EGP 665.825 billion in 2012/2013 FY.
The final account of the total expenditures of the State's Public Budget amounted EGP 701.516 billion, including EGP 15.314 billion for asset purchase and 107.547 billion for domestic and foreign loan repayment.
The budget revenues reached EGP 462.743 billion with a deficit of EGP 255.4 billion.
Egypt has received grants totaled EGP 95.856 billion, and the non-tax revenues hit EGP 100.642 billion.
The final account showed that tax revenues have reached EGP 260.288 billion, receipts of lending and sales of assets amounted EGP 4.286 billion.
Wages and compensations of employees hit EGP 178.588 billion.
Expenditures on subsidy, grants, and social benefits reached EGP 288.579 billion.
