
Chairman of Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa today received Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Dr. Essam bin Abdulla Fakhro and members and Head of BCCI's Committee of Real Estate Sector, Hassan Ibrahim Kamal. The meeting reviewed a number of themes relating to real estate affairs, staff's requirements and joint coordination in exchanging of views on decision-making and improving procedures, as well as a number of registry actions to meet the stage's requirements. SLRB's Chairman pointed the past achievements, including approving the new Land Registration Law by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which will enter into force six months after the date of its publication in the official newspaper on 27 Dec. 2013, and noted the SLRB is currently studying the establishment of an institute for survey and land registration for training, in cooperation with UK Ordinance Survey, adding one of the most important projects the SLRA currently working on is the three-dimensional imaging, which will benefit a number of government and non-government organizations by providing accurate geographic data to facilitate their work. On his part, Dr. Fakhro commended the SLRB's Chairman's support for Committee's views and proposals and the participation in joint real estate committees, concluding the meeting agreed on holding future meetings for the benefit of economic and real estate sectors.
