
The Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning (BSSP)'s Chairperson Dr. Hala Sulaibeekh hailed HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister's unprecedented step of presenting the Government's 4-year Action Plan (2015-2018) during the recent historic parliamentary session.
The government's blueprint was compiled under the title: (Towards justice, security and welfare for the community).
Dr. Hala told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that GAP was prepared by an ad hoc committee presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister which lends this plan a remarkable weight and confirms that the Bahraini citizen as a partner in the decision-making process, represented by MPs.
She added that the people's contribution in decision-making, adding that "when I am a partner in planning I become a partner in application and implementation which makes me feel the strength I am accorded by my homeland. Everybody should conserve this gain
She described the step as an unprecedented national democratic gain which should be supported and upheld by all components of the community, especially as this phase necessitates further community awareness of this epoch-making democratic accomplishment which will usher Bahrain into the new bright phase of national development.
