A number of projects, signed during the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), will start to be implemented immediately, said Planning Minister Ashraf el Araby.
Most of the projects will be enlisted as part of the upcoming fiscal year 2015-2016, he added in exclusive statements to MENA's economic bulletin on Monday.
The minister further said that there will be a follow up of implementing all the projects, signed during the economic conference, which wrapped up yesterday in Sharm el Sheikh.
The state drew up a plan to follow up the projects and ensure the implementation of the projects on due time, he went on to say.
Every project will include all the details related to it and will be followed up electronically to check on any obstacles, he explained.
In the EEDC's closing speech, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said that the total value of the investment deals agreed at the conference hit 60 billion dollars, along with the Gulf aid package which hit 12.5 billion dollars.
