
The third round of the Sudanese-Russian ministerial committee for economic and trade cooperation convened here on Saturday as the joint technical committee started its first meetings.
In statements on Saturday, Sudanese Minister of Minerals Ahmed Sadeq al-Karoury said the Sudanese-Russian meetings come as part of the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, pointing out that a number of agreements in vital economic fields will be signed.
The meetings will run till December 22 for talks on the various economic and trade fields.
The Russian side to the meetings is led by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergey Donskoy. The Russian delegation includes a number of government officials and businessmen, while the Sudanese side is led by Sudanese Minister of Minerals along with officials from the ministries concerned with the economic file and owners of the Sudanese business enterprises.
