A delegation of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), led by deputy chairman Abdel Qader Darwish, visited the Dubai Port of Fujairah to get acquainted with the latest techniques in running vessel fueling stations.
The visit was made as SCZONE is planning to establish fueling stations at ports in Suez and Port Said and offer services to vessels passing the Suez Canal at both directions, SCZONE said in a statement.
The delegation also visited Dubai ports and met with officials to discuss aspects of cooperation and ways to transfer the successful experience to Egypt, it said.
SCZONE authority is also seeking to upgrade and develop its six ports of east and west of Port Said, Adabiya, Ain Sokhna, Arish and Al Tur.
