
Suez Canal received on Tuesday the mega cruise ship "Splendor of the Seas" during its worldwide tour.
In statements to MENA, a reliable source at the Suez Canal said the ship, which is one of the Royal Caribbean International's oldest ships, can carry 130,000 tons of cargo passed Suez Canal coming from Oman en route to Greece.
The cruise ship carried 3,000 tourists of various nationalities along with 1,000- member crew.
Suez Canal would receive in April and May as many as 100 tourist ships that are heading from the Gulf region to Europe on annual cruises around the world.
