Suez is gearing up for the inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal as Governor El-Arabi Al-Serwis said the event will be full of surprises for Suez's people.
"The people of Suez are proud of the canal which has been dug by the hands of Egyptians," the governor said on Tuesday.
The opening of the New Suez Canal Project will be on August 6.
