Tourism minister says 20% increase in visitors to Egypt

The number of visitors to Egypt increased by 20 percent, while tourism profits reached dlrs US 7.7 billion in 2014, Tourism Minister Khalef Ramy said Wednesday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Alexandria International Film Festival, the minister said Alexandria is the city of arts and culture and the festival is one of the reasons behind tourism inflow in Egypt.
In his word, read on his behalf, the minister reiterated that the festival reflected security and safety in Egypt.
