
Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil, inaugurated on Thursday the 10th FURNEX trade fair.
The fair comes under the auspices of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
During the inauguration, the minister said 1,000 Arab and European investors and purchasing managers were invited to attend the fair. He hoped that the Egyptian companies participating in the fair will sign agreements at an amount more than 100 million dollars as achieved in the past rounds.
FURNEX is an international trade fair held in Egypt since 2004 with the main objective of introducing Egypt to the international trade community of furniture and home furnishings industries as a world class supplier of these commodities.
FURNEX continues succeeding in transforming local furniture manufacturers into developed skilled exporters, through enabling them to compete internationally and continuously exposing their products to international visitors and thus international markets.
This session FURNEX will be held from February 4-7, 2016, at the Cairo International Convention Center (CICC) hosting over 150 Egyptian exhibitors from different various industrial sectors, including Furniture, home accessories, home textile, service providers and more.
All of these companies will be showcasing under one roof, in addition to the design hub, the talks and the collateral activities that will happen alongside the fair.
