A malfunction in a metro train led to a partial suspension of the second subway line on Saturday.
The idle train will be dragged so that journeys can resume along the second subway line, spokesman for the metro company Ahmed Abdel-Hadi told MENA.
Only trains traveling between Shobra el-Khaima and Giza are operative now, he noted.
