Transport minister: Alexandria port returns hit 1bn pounds

Transport Minister Hani Dahi said on Friday that the Port of Alexandria's returns jumped this year to 1.26 billion pounds with a net profit of 370 million pounds.
The minister made the remarks during a press conference at the port.
Dahi stressed the need to increase the annual returns of the port, denying discount on tariffs for Chinese companies.
He held a meeting with navigation officials at the port.
The minister dismissed reports on raising prices of Metro tickets after the hike of fuel prices.
