Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Foreign Trade Minister, has discussed trade and investment ties with Alaa Qanawi, First Undersecretary in Egypt's Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade, on the sidelines of the fourth session of the Arab-Sino Businesspersons Conference, at the Sharjah Expo. The Ministry of Foreign Trade Affairs said yesterday in a statement that the talks with the Egyptian official focused on enhancement of economic and investment ties with companies to boost the volume of trade between the two countries. Shaikha Lubna said the strategy of the ministry aims to expand the volume of UAE exports worldwide. The Egyptian official stressed the strong trade ties between the UAE and Egypt, adding that UAE investments in Egypt help development plans and the economy of Egypt.
