UAE Economic Minister Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori stressed Thursday the importance of concerting efforts to achieve the Arab economic integration and face the regional compelling challenges.
In a speech he delivered in the 96th session for the economic and social council, chaired by UAE, Al Mansoori underscored the need for a political will to carry out the Arab League decisions aimed at bringing about the regional interests.
The UAE minister said the council's meeting came amid exceptional circumstances, developments, and challenges faced by the Arab region and its peoples, which made boosting the concerted work and convergence in both economic and social domains among the Arab states inevitable.
