
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization for Relief & Development's (JHCO) Secretary General, Ayman Mufleh, discussed Saturday with the Head of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Unified Relief Team, Mubarak Junaidi, the situation of the Syrian refugees in the Kingdom.
Mufleh said the visit was part of the efforts to develop cooperation between the two sides, and to discuss the needs of the Syrian refugees and ways to meet their demands and requirement, pointing out the quantum of the aid the UAE has provided to the refugees.
Junaidi said there has been an increase in the amount of the humanitarian and relief assistance provided to the needy families in Jordan, currently facing the difficult economic situation in the Kingdom due to the influx of the Syrian and Iraqi refugees.
