The "Invest in Egypt" Conference kicked off Thursday in the United Arab Emirates with the participation of the Egyptian Finance Ministry.
A high-level delegation from the Saudi-Egyptian Businessmen Association (SEBA) will participate in the event.
Association's Secretary General Ahmed Darwish said SEBA's participation in the conference aims at supporting Egypt's economy.
As many as 700 international companies will participate in this two-day event, which is held under the auspices of UAE Minister of State Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Darwish said.
He added that the conference will shed light on the importance of investment in Egypt, especially in the infrastructure, banking, real estate, energy, petrochemical, and industrial fields.
SEBA's Deputy Chairman Sultan Al Darwish said the conference will evaluate the new political environment in Egypt and draw up plans for investment in the state in the coming ten years.
