
A UAE business delegation, currently visiting South Africa, has held a number of meetings with South African officials to discuss ways of expanding commercial and economic ties.
The delegation met with Minister of Economic Development Ebrahim Patel, Minister of Economic Development, Minister of Transport Elizabeth Dipuo Peters and the Provincial Minister of Economic Opportunities at the Western Cape Government Alan Winde.
Al Mansouri highlighted investment opportunities and incentives provided to investors in the UAE. He also praised the growing economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
Trade exchange between the UAE and South Africa stood at AED 9.4 billion in 2013. There are currently over 200 South African companies operating in the UAE, along with 10 dealerships and 174 registered trademarks.
