Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain has directed establishing Business Woman Council in the emirate under the umbrella of UAQ Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at unifying businesswomen's efforts in the emirate. Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry's board during its ordinary meeting on Sunday discussed mechanisms of the council's work in the light of the rules and regulations of the Council of Businesswomen in the State. Humaid Mohammad Ali Ben Salem, General Manager of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that directions of Sheikh Saud for establishing UAQ Business woman Council were designed to unify Businesswomen's efforts and forging their interests on both the country's and emirate's level as well as encouraging woman's participation in the diverse economic activities. It also aimed at supporting Businesswomen in the emirate. He affirmed also that establishing the council came under directives of UAQ Ruler and in the frame of his interest by woman's role in the economic activities.
