
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has directed the Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charity and Humanitarian Foundation (SRHF) in Umm Al Qaiwain to donate Dh1 million for the UAE Show Compassion telethon.
He also called for speedy implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide relief aid to refugees and victims of the snowstorm currently hitting the Levant region.
The gesture came in response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, follow up by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide assistance to thousands of families and all those affected by the snowstorm.
Sheikh Majed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mua'lla, Chairman of the SRHF's Board of Trustees, said that the Foundation, in accordance with the directives of the UAQ Ruler, is keen on participating in all telethons and initiatives of the country's wise leadership to support people finding themselves in trying circumstances.
