Violence cost Egypt 330m pounds

The Egyptian Minister of Local Development, Major-General Adel Labib, in a press statement, today announced that more than 14 Egyptian provinces have suffered a loss of approximately 330 million Egyptian pounds due to the recent deliberate acts of violence. He pointed the work of specialized committees on assessing the damages is nearing completion. He noted violence has hindered a high number of government institutions from playing their roles in providing service to citizens, stressing the State is determined to apply the law against the perpetrators of those violence crimes.
