
Governor of Ibb Yahya al-Eryani discussed on Tuesday with the Head of Taiz Office of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Yemen, Philippe Alan, the humanitarian services provided for the governorate districts.
The meeting reviewed the humanitarian role provided by the ICRC within its mission in supporting governmental efforts and local authorities to alleviate consequences of conflicts and providing medical services and water for afflicted people in the governorate.
They also talked about the possibility to conduct a field survey for health centers in the targeted districts, at the present time, in order to know health requirements and the humanitarian situation in these districts so that the ICRC and the Yemeni Red Crescent Society (YRCS) provide the necessary assistance.
For his part, the governor exalted the humanitarian role carried out by the ICRC in alleviating consequences of conflicts and providing support and care for victims.
