
Minister of Oil and Minerals Hussein al-Kaf flew on Wednesday to France to head meetings of the board of directors of Yemen LNG Company.
In a statement to Saba, al-Kaf told Saba that the negotiations would focus on altering the gas selling prices for 2015 with the Yemeni LNG buyers, which are TOTAL and GDF Suez companies of France.
The minister pointed out that he ,on sidelines of the meetings being held every three months in one of the countries contributing in the project, would hold side meetings with TOTAL company, which operates in a number of exploratory and productive blocks, to discuss its plans to increase to increase investment in this area, as well as some investment companies and French investors in the field of oil, gas and minerals.
