
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met in Canberra today with Steven Ciobo, Australian Minister for Trade and Investment.
The meeting touched on the outstanding bilateral relations between the two countries as well as reviewing a number of issues of common concern.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed hailed the relations binding the two friendly countries, especially in trade, economic and investment fields.
The Australian Minister for Trade highlighted his country's keenness to strengthen relations with the UAE and boost mutual cooperation in various fields based on the excellent relations between the two countries and the good reputation enjoyed by the UAE at the international level, commending the UAE's progress and development in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, and Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the Department of East Asia and Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
