Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra received here on Tuesday French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault in Algiers.
The two ministers discussed progress of all issues on the bilateral agenda and examined ways to deepen political dialogue and strengthen relations between the two countries.
The visit is part of the bilateral agreement establishing the Algerian-French High Level Intergovernmental Committee (CIHN), signed between the two parties in December 2013.
The agreement provides for the establishment of a periodical political dialogue between the two countries at the level of the prime ministers, the ministers of foreign affairs and the secretaries general.
