Argentina and Thailand on Monday approved 15 South-South cooperation projects under the 2013-2015 Action Plan, the Argentine Foreign Ministry said.The projects will be jointly financed by the Argentine Fund of South-South and Triangular Cooperation and the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency, it said in a statement.The 2013-2015 Action Plan of Argentina is aimed at strengthening political and economic ties with Southeast Asia, it said, adding Foreign Minister Hector Timerman's visits to Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam in 2012 were part of the effort.The plan covers cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, astronomy and genetics.Since the first meeting of the Argentina-Thailand Joint Committee was held in 2010, technical cooperation projects between the two countries have tripled from five to the current 15.
