The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met on Wednesday with the members of the Swiss-German business society, who are conducting a roundtable discussion at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) hosted by Swiss Bank Sarasin-Alpen. Sheikh Mohammed exchanged views with the Swiss and German businesspersons on a number of international financial and economic issues and the means to bolster the global economy. He wished them success in their roundtable discussion and fruitful results, indicating that the global economic is recovering in many sectors and countries, including the UAE. Sheikh Mohammed invited the Swiss and German businesspersons to acquaint themselves with the unique vision of Dubai and how it successfully managed to weather the global economic crisis and move forward towards the future. He assured the businesspersons that their meeting, which is being held for the first time in Dubai, is more than welcome and will enjoy full support.
