British Minister for the Middle East Tobias Ellwood has called on British companies to invest in Egypt, noting that the Egyptian economy became more attractive.
Speaking at a seminar organized by Friends of Egypt parliamentary group, Ellwood said he led a successful trade mission of over 51 British companies to Egypt, the largest to any country within a year, to increase investment and trade between the two countries.
He further underlined his country's commitment to helping the Egyptians build a successful future for their country, which is more secure, more democratic, and more inclusive with a dynamic economy that creates jobs and opportunities for all.
Ellwood also hailed the economic reform adopted by the Egyptian government, noting that Britain stands ready to help implement reforms that make Egypt a more attractive place for investment as well as to ensure that economic growth benefits all Egyptians.
