
The cabinet approved Thursday a draft of a presidential decree on economic and technical cooperation deal with China.
According to the deal, China will offer a 200 million Yuan non-refundable grant to Egypt to be used in making a feasibility study and conducting a sanitary project in villages, a remote sensing satellite, along with other joint projects to be agreed on later.
The deal was signed on January 21, 2016.
Another draft presidential decree was approved on a framework agreement between the Egyptian and Chinese trade ministries, signed on September 2, 2015.
The framework agreement tackles carrying out projects in several fields such as electricity, oil and gas, railways, highways, ports, mining, textile.
