
The deputy head of the Czech federation of Industries said the Czech business delegation, currently visiting Egypt, expressed readiness to invest in Egypt's market, especially in the domains of military production, heavy engineering equipment and medical and relief equipment.
During the signing of the a cooperation protocol between the Czech federation and its Egyptian counterpart, the deputy head of the Czech federation said the trade balance between the two countries tilted in favor of the Czech republic where Czech exports to Egypt in 2015 amounted to more than 340 million dollars against nearly 71 million in Egyptian exports.
He pointed out that the number of Czech tourists to Egypt is on the rise.
For his part, the head of the small and medium enterprises at the Egyptian Federation of Industry, Walid Gamal Eddin, praised the visit to Egypt by the Czech delegation, led by minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomir Zaoralek who arrived in Cairo on Saturday, pointing out that the visit would strengthen ties between the two countries.
The Federation of Egyptian Industries held meetings with the Czech delegation under the Czech foreign minister
During his visit, Zaoralek discussed with Egyptian top officials a number of issues of mutual interest.
Zaoralek is a accompanied by a thirty-member delegation of businessmen and officials.
