
The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 104 yen zone in early deals on Wednesday, marginally higher than levels seen overnight in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.81-83 yen compared with 104.59-69 yen in New York and 104.10-11 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0987-0988 dollars and 115.16-17 yen against 1.0982-0992 dollars and 114.90-115.00 yen in New York and 1.1007-1008 dollars and 114.58-62 yen in late afternoon trade in Tokyo.
