DP World recently sent its delegation to visit and experience Milan Expo 2015. The delegation represented the entire spectrum of the company - from directors to customs specialists and ground staff.
The mission of this delegation was to grasp the visitors' experience at the Milan Expo 2015 and convey an informed perspective to the Expo 2020 Bureau.
Key members included Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman of DP World; Jamal Majid bin Thaniah, DP World vice-chairman; Mohammed Sharaf, group CEO; Anil Wats, chief operating officer; and other senior DP World officials.
Bin Sulayem said: "The Dubai Expo 2020 presents a tremendous opportunity for Dubai, the UAE and the region to showcase its already established and efficient infrastructure and its unique geographic position as a hub for trade, business and tourism. The delegation we sent was part of our ongoing research and quest for best practice that we can apply in five years' time."
