Egypt considers the establishment of a navigation line linking Egyptian and Russian ports to boost exports to Russia, said Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil.
He noted that the Export Council for Agricultural Crops and Food Industries has been commissioned to develop a study on this line in coordination with various export councils interested in the Russian market.
This came during an expanded meeting with Minister of Agriculture Essam Fayed, Minister of Transport Galal El Saeed and a raft of representatives of ministers concerned.
The meeting tackled the government's plan to expand the volume of economic and commercial ties with Russia.
The new line will be an opportunity to increase Egyptian exports to Russia, Qabil said.
Qabil stressed the importance of increasing Egyptian exports to the Russian Market.
