This came during Qabil's meeting with Italian Ambassador to Egypt Maurizio Massari to review aspects of economic cooperation between Egypt and Italy and accomplishments made in the past period.
The meeting also took up the priorities of cooperation in the coming stage and the importance to cooperate with the Italian side in these fields and benefit from the expertise of the Italian companies.
Qabil asserted that Egyptian-Italian ties are distinguished especially in the economic field.
Qabil said that Egyptian-Italian cooperation witnessed a big progress within the past period whether at the level of exchanging visits between senior officials from both states or at the level of private sector.
On the other hand, Massari asserted Italy's keenness on increasing cooperation with Egypt, highlighting the role of the Egyptian-Italian businessmen council in boosting commercial and investment ties between both countries.
The Italian government is committed to support the private sector in Egypt especially in the small and medium scale enterprises, Massari said.
