An official of the European Union said on Wednesday that the EU has increased the annual support to Yemen to ten million euro as well as US$ 18 million-financial support. Managing Director for North Africa, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq in the European External Action Service Hugues Mingarelli added this increase was approved to support the Supreme Commission for Elections, the National Dialogue Conference and political process in Yemen. During a meeting of the Yemeni-European committee co-chaired by Mingarelli and Planning and International Cooperation Minister Mohammed al-Saadi, the EU official pointed out the Yemeni government needs to fulfill its obligations relating to a reform package agreed upon through the Riyadh donors conference.
