
Trade and Industry Minister Munir Fakhry Abdel Nour said on Monday that a visit by a business delegation from the Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF) to Egypt reflects French businessmen's interest in getting acquainted with the investment opportunities in Egypt.
Speaking at a press conference held by the chairmen of the French-Egyptian business council, Abdel Nour said that the delegation of the presidents of French companies, currently visiting Egypt, will pay a visit to the New Suez Canal project on Wednesday.
For his part, France's Ambassador to Egypt André Parant voiced his happiness over the visit of the French delegation to Egypt after their it was postponed more than once.
The diplomat said the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) proved that the Egyptian economy is greatly recovering and had become attractive to the foreign investors.
