French President Francois Hollande has today welcomed the deal which was reached yesterday (Feb20) between the Eurozone creditors and Greece to extend Athens’ bailout for four months.
"The agreement resents a "good compromise deal" for both Europe and Greece", Le Figaro newspaper quoted President Hollande as he visit a farming exhibition in Paris.
Greece had submitted a demand to the Eurozone group of nineteen countries, asking for a crucial four-month extension to its massive debt bailout.
Dutch Finance Minister, Eurogroup Chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem said on Friday said that Greece would have to submit a list of reform measures by Monday as part of the deal.
