
Hong Kong has welcomed the United Arab Emirates' willingness to expand its economic relations with Hong Kong in various investment, commercial and industrial sectors, particularly in the field of innovation and invention.
During a meeting, at the fifth Business of Intellectual Property Asia, BIP Asia, Forum at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry Affairs and Ms. Margaret Fong, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, HKTDC, stressed their strong desire to open more joint investment channels and holding strategic partnerships between small and medium-sized companies of both sides at different economic levels.
The UAE Ministry of Economy organised a pavilion within the activities of the BIP Asia in collaboration with the HKTDC and the Integration Initiative of the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee,
