
The Council of Arab Finance Ministers will convene its sixth Ordinary Session chaired by Saudi Finance Minister, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, with participation of Arab finance ministers on Tuesday.
The meeting will be attended by the Arab League, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD), and Arab executive directors in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank as observers.
The meetings will discuss various key topics, including the report of Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Hamidi the Director General and Board Chairman of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF).
The meeting will also discuss follow up reports regarding the themes of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Initiative to Support Economic Stability in the Arab region, the exchange of expertise and experiences between Arab countries in the area of tax reform.
The Egyptian Finance Minister Hany Kadry Dimian will present an outline of his country's experience of tax reform.
